How to save a file on a computer in Figma

Figma stores all your projects in the cloud, which eliminates the need to constantly save copies on your computer. However, there is such a possibility, and it’s very easy to use it.

You may need to save the file if for some reason Figma is not able to save a copy in the cloud. This may happen because of the problems with the Internet, errors or technical works on the side of the service.

The Figma projects have the .fig extension. To save the project, select File > Save As .fig from the menu
