The Rectangle is one of the basic vector elements in the Figure. To create a rectangle, select the Rectangle (R) control.

If you click on the workspace, Figma will create a 100 by 100 pixel square in gray (# C4C4C4).

If you stretch the screen with the cursor held down, Figma will create a rectangle, the lengths of the sides of which will be proportional to the cursor’s vertical and horizontal paths.

If you drag and hold the cursor on the screen while holding Shift, the Figma will create a square whose side length will be proportional to the cursor path.
